The redesigned stainless steel hot water tank (HWT-F1000S), which includes the new water filtration system (F-1000S), will feature a new high-end appearance. It is re-engineered for longer life and improved performance with a 2/3-gallon capacity tank, tool-free connections to ease installation, and dry-start protection for peace of mind. This tank provides up to 60 cups of near-boiling, filtered water per hour.

4 tubes from single lever hot water dispenser

I purchased this unit with the single lever hot water dispenser, and without the filter as I will be using water from my reverse osmosis as the filter. Upon opening the dispenser package, I see 4 tubes coming out of the bottom of the dispenser:

1) all copper
2) copper with opaque plastic tube attached
3) all (opaque) plastic tube
4) blue plastic tube with snap on connector

Breaking down the system by function, there is:

a) cold water input
b) hot water output
c) vent

Logic would cause one to expect three nipples on the tank and there are. One would expect the (a) nipple to connect directly to the cold water source, and the (b) nipple to connect to the hot water dispenser.

So:

why are there 4 tubes coming from the dispenser?

what is (1) above used for?

what is (2) above used for?

is the blue tube cold water input (cold normally is marked blue)?

Finally, is there any issue using the output from my reverse osmosis as the input for the Insinkerator water heater

The instructions are no help in answering these questions, so thanks for any clarification you can provide.

The Evolution Compact food waste disposer is perfect for small households and houses with restricted cabinet space.

Does the Evolution Compact use a smaller size stopper versus the standard size disposers?

I need to order a stopper for the compact but feel the opening appears smaller than the norm and would require a slightly smaller stopper. Is this correct? Is there a part number I could get?
Hi, this is Jerica from InSinkErator Customer Service. All InSinkErator disposers have the same diameter size of stoppers. The part number of the Evolution Compact’s stainless stopper is 8300D. If you are interested in ordering parts, you can contact Carroll Parts and Services through 1-800-654-3545. If you have questions, please feel free to contact us through insinkeratorfeedback@emerson.com or call InSinkErator AnswerLine at 1 (800) 558-5700. Thank you.

The Evolution Septic Assist food waste disposer is specifically designed for homes with septic systems.

friend has a brand new one of this model but didnt use it. Can I use it .. I don't have septic.

I don't have septic. I am on city but I need a new unit, would like to have that USA made Insinkerator .....Can I use this???
Hi, this is Jerica from InSinkErator Customer Service. Yes, this model can be used even if you do not have a septic tank. Also, in case your disposer ran out of the Bio-Charge liquid, you can still use the disposer and it would operate as a regular household disposer. If you have questions, please feel free to contact us through insinkeratorfeedback@emerson.com or call InSinkErator AnswerLine at 1 (800) 558-5700. Thank you.

The InSinkErator Mounting Gasket Kit includes two replacement sink gaskets to be used in conjunction with specific InSinkErator disposer models. Refer to the included installation instructions for quick and easy gasket replacement. Not for use with Evolution Series and E606 disposers.

Does this gasket replace and fit the original baffle in the Badger 9?

Replacement sink baffle for all InSinkErator Evolution Series disposers. The Quiet Collar Sink Baffle helps reduce disposer noise, prevents food and water from splashing upward and is removable for easy cleaning. The antimicrobial feature of the baffle helps to inhibit growth of odor-causing bacteria. Not for use with Badger disposers.

Will this Baffle fit my Evolution Pro Compact (should be 3 & 1/8th across)?

Hi, this is Jerica from InSinkErator Customer Service. Yes, the InSinkErator Quiet Collar Sink Baffle is designed for all InSinkErator Evolution Continuous Feed type disposers. If you have questions, you may send me an email through insinkeratorfeedback@emerson.com or call InSinkErator AnswerLine at 1 (800) 558-5700. Thank you.

The Evolution Essential food waste disposer is the ideal choice for a wide range of kitchens.

is it possible to buy insinkerator evolution 100 in US?

hi, i live in Italy and i would like to buy insinkerator evolution 100 that is the model that works in Italy (we have 230 volts) in US because it's cheaper than in Italy, can iI?

thank you.
Hi, this is Jerica from InSinkErator Customer Service. Unfortunately the Evolution Essential disposer is only manufactured for use in the U.S. and Canada. It is not certified for use, or compatible with, the electrical requirements of countries other than the U.S. and Canada. If installed outside these countries, the unit would carry no warranty. However, we can check if we have an available Evolution model in your region and where you can possibly purchase it. Kindly send me an email through insinkeratorfeedback@emerson.com with your complete contact information and I will get in touch with you. Thank you.
