The Extended Sink Flange is required for sinks greater than 3/4" thick. The polished surface of this stainless steel flange will complement most stainless steel sinks. For more information, call the Answer line at 1-800-558-5700. Note: Use of abrasive cleaning solutions may harm this product's finish.

I have a farm sink and bought a extended flange from whitehaus model # wh202_ORB will your batch feed disposal work with this flange or do I need to

buy one that requires one with a switch.
Hi, this is Jerica from InSinkErator Customer Service. We do not recommend that you use an extended sink flange made by a different manufacturer. This may void the warranty of your disposer. If you need an extended sink flange, we have one that can accommodate both batch-feed and continuous-feed type of disposer. Our extended sink flange can accommodate up to 1 ¾” thick sink. I have included the link below for your reference. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact us through insinkeratorfeedback@emerson.com or call InSinkErator AnswerLine at 1 (800) 558-5700. Thank you.

Replacement sink baffle for all InSinkErator Evolution Series disposers. The Quiet Collar Sink Baffle helps reduce disposer noise, prevents food and water from splashing upward and is removable for easy cleaning. The antimicrobial feature of the baffle helps to inhibit growth of odor-causing bacteria. Not for use with Badger disposers.

How do you romove the old sink baffle and instrall this new product ?

Hi, this is Jerica from InSinkErator Customer Service. To better assist you, could you please send additional details concerning your disposer (model, serial #) and your contact information to insinkeratorfeedback@emerson.com. This would help us determine the accurate steps on how to replace your disposer’s sink baffle and if the Quiet Collar Sink Baffle can be used with your disposer. Thank you.

in case you didn`t get the first question.

just bought a new 5XP from Home Depot to replace an older model in the house my son purchased a year ago. Installed as per instructions. Checked the voltage coming through, It registered 120V. Turned on ( water running ), ran fine. Shut off, turned back on. The drum(?) was trying to spin but could hardly move. The breaker ( on the unit ) kicked in. Reset, tried again, worked. Shut off, tried again, wouldn`t work, shut off breaker. Used the allen key to check the drum(?), no resistance whatsoever.
Hi limey,

I have already posted a response to your first question. Again, I do apologize for the inconvenience that you encountered with your disposer. Kindly send me an email through insinkeratorfeedback@emerson.com with your complete contact information and serial number of your disposer and I will get in touch with you.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Jerica

I just bought a new badger 5XP for my son from Home Depot. Installed according to the instructions, ( hard wired )

it works intermittently. The drum? revolves easily using the allen key.It appears the motor is trying to spin the drum but the drum is tight. If I don`t shut it off fast enough it throws the breaker on the unit. Also gets quite hot.
