The F-2000S Water Filtration System Plus is designed for exclusive use with InSinkErator water dispensing systems. It reduces particulates, chlorine taste and odor, plus cysts, lead, mercury, and other impurities allowing you to enjoy better-tasting hot beverages. It has a 1/4 in. quick-connect fitting and is replaced easily without contact with used filter material.
Does this filter out flouride?

The F2000S Filtration System provides mechanical and chemical reduction of dirt/rust, chlorine/taste/odor, particulates, cysts, asbestos, lead, mercury, lindane, benzene, carbofuran, p-dichlorobenzene, 2,4-D and Atrazine. Unfortunately, fluoride is not included as one of the water impurities that it can filter. Replacement SinkTop Switch push button. To change button color, pop the old decorative ring off the push button body, replace with the new push button, and push the sides of the new decorative ring until it locks with the push button body.
Does this include the push button body, the plastic threaded air chamber? Do you sell a replacement body?

can the cold tap be used with r.o. water?
Hi, this is Jerica from InSinkErator Customer Service. At the present time, there are no national standards regarding such compatibility. In the absence of a nationally recognized standard, InSinkErator can make no claim regarding our products’ compatibility with other filtration systems and we can neither discourage nor recommend the use of such systems in conjunction with our Instant Hot Water Dispensers including the cold side of our faucet assemblies.
However, we can share some facts with you.
RO Systems produce highly purified water which makes the water very “aggressive”. That is why RO faucets are completely plastic. Our dispenser faucets are brass constructed. Additionally, RO System can produce very low water flow rates, which hinder the performance of the instant hot water dispenser system. At water line pressures significantly lower than 30 PSI, the dispenser may “drip”. Either of these two situations could lead to dissatisfaction, which is why we’ve introduced our own filtration system designed specifically for use with our Instant Hot Water Dispensers.

The Evolution Septic Assist food waste disposer is specifically designed for homes with septic systems.
I have a septic system and am uncertain whether the more powerful Excel system would be a better solution than the Septic Assist model...please advise

All conventional InSinkErator disposers, including our Evolution Excel model have always been safe for properly sized septic systems. For example, if your system is sized for a dishwasher or clothes washer, it can handle a disposer. After all, a disposer uses only about as much water per day as one flush of a toilet. But there are additional advantages when you choose the Septic Assist Disposer if you use products similar to Rid-X. I have included below a link for additional information concerning our Septic Assist Disposer.

The Evolution Compact food waste disposer is perfect for small households and houses with restricted cabinet space.
My insinkerator Evolution Compact is leaking at the tailpipe mount area.
The tailpipe mount appears to be cracked, but I think that the discharge from the container body/motor joint is also causing problems. It looks like the discharge is now misshapen.

Is there a shorter sink flange for the Badger 1?
I am installing a Badger 1 and the wall drain is about a half inch too high for proper drainage from the disposal. This is a new installation. Your documentation states that the center of the drain on the side of the disposal is 15-15/16 inches from the bottom of the sink. This one is closer to 16-1/2 inches from the bottom of the sink. Is there a shorter sink flange available to fix this problem?
Hi, this is Jerica from InSinkErator Customer Service. Badger 1 disposers already come with a regular sink flange. When installing the disposer to a stainless steel sink, ½” is added to the distance from the bottom of sink to center line of disposer outlet. We do not have any sink flange that would be shorter than the size of the regular sink flange. Unfortunately, we do not recommend that you continue with the disposer installation if the wall drain will be higher than the disposer outlet. This is to prevent possible clog issues in the future. Use of F-201R filration with HWT-F1000S Hot Water Tank
I had a SST-FLTR (which uses a F-201R filter) installed in 2009. The hot water tank was damaged during a power outage, so I purchased a HWT-F1000S replacement. I installed the new hot water tank but since I had purchased extra F-201R filters and the new F-1000 filter system that came with this unit requires a different size water supply line, I just mounted the new heater and reconnected the lines to use continue using the existing F-201R filter. Is this okay for operation of the HWT-F1000S or do I have to install the F-1000 filter system? Thank you.
