The Evolution Compact food waste disposer is perfect for small households and houses with restricted cabinet space.
What garage can not go in unit.

Most food waste created in the kitchen such as vegetable peelings & trimmings, egg shells, coffee grounds, meal scraps and the like may be ground in the disposer. For fibrous materials like celery, artichoke leaves, corn husks or shells (oyster/clam), etc. we recommend the Evolution Series disposers which have advanced grind capabilities and can grind any foods. Don't be afraid to grind small bones or fruit pits either. Grinding these items is recommended because they keep the shredding components in the disposer clean and moving freely. They also create a scouring action that will scrape off leftover particles inside the disposer that may cause odor. We recommend you avoid pouring grease or fat down your disposer or any drain. Are both of the receptacles controlled by the air switch?
Hi, this is Jerica from InSinkErator® Customer Service. Both receptacles of a Dual Outlet SinkTop switch are controlled by the push button. When you push the SinkTop Switch™ button, you switch electrical power between the two outlets on the power module. This feature allows a second appliance to be plugged in (such as an InSinkErator Instant Hot Water Dispenser) and momentarily interrupts its power to run the disposer. The power module automatically turns the second appliance back on when the disposer is switched off. Knob jamming
I find the knob keeps jamming causing the water to keep running. How do I stop that from happening?

Hi, this is Jerica from InSinkErator® Customer Service. We cannot recommend the use of an RO System with our hot water dispensers for a couple of reasons. First, RO Systems produce very low water flow rates and our hot water dispenser requires a consistent water pressure of 30 PSI. If it goes below 30 PSI, the faucet will drip. Secondly, RO Systems produce highly purified water which makes the water very "aggressive". This is why RO faucets are generally made of plastic. Our dispenser faucets are brass and the water may pick up a metallic taste. Replacement sink baffle for all InSinkErator Evolution Series disposers. The Quiet Collar Sink Baffle helps reduce disposer noise, prevents food and water from splashing upward and is removable for easy cleaning. The antimicrobial feature of the baffle helps to inhibit growth of odor-causing bacteria. Not for use with Badger disposers.
