This citrus-scented InSinkErator Bio-Charge Cartridge Replacement for Evolution Septic Assist disposers is a cost-effective enzyme treatment. Bio-Charge contains a natural microorganism that helps break down food waste and a citrus scent to help control odors from the sink and drain. Bio-Charge is only for use with the Evolution Septic Assist disposer, and will last 3 to 4 months with average use. One cartridge of Bio-Charge equals 4 bottles of other septic treatments.
 

why does the new bottles not fit my old machine? can i purchase an new bottle that fits the older model machine?

I have been using this product for ten years. i know how to instal the product. if i use the lid from an old bio charge that was empty it works fine. but the new lid falls off the machine after a few uses. now i have accidentally tossed the old lid and i cant get the new one to stay on.. how can i fix this problem?

Does the spout swivel, or is it fixed when it is installed?

I saw a sample in the local home depot store and it seemed to be fixed, (no swivell) but noone in the store seemed to know the answer.

Replacing Flex Coupler (Anti-Vibration Tailpipe Mount)

I'm confused about removal of old torn anti-vibration tailpipe mount and installing the new one I just received. Do I need a really wide screwdriver and a lot of torque to unscrew the single top screw on the old one? It won't budge. Is that the only connection? And when replacing, how do these create a watertight seal against the Evolution disposal hole since it's just a metal plate? (The spring clamp for connecting to the down pipe does make sense to me though.)
Hi, this is Jerica from InSinkErator® Customer Service. When replacing an Evolution disposer’s flex coupler, no special tools are required only a properly sized flat head or Philips screw driver. Once you have the replacement part, all you need to do is remove the old flex coupler by taking off the bolt/screw. The replacement flex coupler will just slip into the same slot and is held in place by the lower tab and the bolt/screw at the top. is there an available replacement part for the anti-vibration tailpipe mount?

The rubber section that connects to the pipe has cracked and is leaking. can this be replaced? hopefully we don't need to buy a new just because of this part. unit runs perfect besides this major leaking issue.

I bought a new Badger 1, 1/3hp. Strait out of the box I noticed the two "teeth" inside the unit were not tighted down. Should I return this unit?

The two grinder teeth in side the unit are very loose and swivel around the bolt that hold them in place. Is this normal in new units? my current one is 10 yrs old.

All InSinkErator household disposers have two blunt rotating nubs (called lugs or impellers) which bat the food around and force it through holes along the perimeter of the grind chamber.
