Proswater is hot, unit looks great, easy to install
Conssmall capacity, fill stream is slow, they don't last very long
This unit was easy to install. Looks great in the sink and produces very hot water as advertised. I haven't noticed an increase in power usage. This was a replacement which didn't last very long.

Is it imperative that you must use a sink top switch if you only have one electrical outlet and the disposal is using one of the recepticals?
If you have power to the receptacle and not gust the hot leg from the switch, you can cut the hot leg of the receptacle. You would then have one switched for the garbage disposal and one always hot for the hot water dispenser. If you are unsure get an electrician.

Any solution for sputtering?
My unit is 6 years old and recently, when I dispense water, it almost immediately starts sputtering, rather than flowing out normally. Used to be that it would flow normally, except when I was filling a large pan and then toward the end, it would sputter. But now it starts with the sputtering almost immediately. Anything I can do?
I would try to turn the temperature down a little.
