Installation instructions clear and complete. anyone that knows what end of a hammer to use can install. Takes some patience and bending but all went well. A bit heavy to lift and secure. Needed to block it up to secure it to the mounting ring.

Why will dishwasher not drain when hose is connected to the disposer?
I replaced a badger model disposer with a Evolution Spacesaver model. Now the dishwasher will not drain when the hose os connected to the disposer. If I disconnect the dishwasher drain hose from the disposer it will drain with no problem.
Sounds like you or the installer didn't knock out the drain plug on the disposal. Number 16 in the install guide.

can you instal this without a wall button, just a top activated?
Not the Evolution Compact. Insinkerator as a "Top Control" model without need of a wall switch or counter button switch.
