I use it to sterilize my knifes, tea, add hot water to soups and a dozen things I can't think of right now. My old one died (after 20 yard) and I could' stand not having it.
The new hot 101 is nice looking too.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Will the Hot 100 faucet fit in the old hole for the Hot 1 faucet? I don't want to drill my countertop a second time

Yes it will fit. I just did this, put a new one in the old hole.
