What would cause the disposer to leak?
I have been having Badger 1 for about 7 years and it has started leaking from the bottom from the electrical access plate

do you ever suppose to clean it
It stop working but it's making a loud noise
Use an allen wrench to free the blades. If it doesn't turn without a clog then a new one is needed.

A fork is stuck in disposal and will not work. I tried the reset button, but motor just hums, and handle of fork is jammed in. Please help!
Use an allen wrench on the bottom shaft to try and free it.

I have a badger1, and it's leaking from the bottom, near red reset button.Is it repairable
I would say a new one is in your future.

no noise and not operating at all. circuit breaker is fine. does unit have a reset button?
Badger 1 sink disposal. Purchased 2 years ago. On off switch is flush to granite counter top...push button.
The reset is on the bottom of the disposal. Free the disposal with an allen wrench before resetting.

reset button
mine has stopped working. I see a red button underneath. How long do I hold it in for?
Should reset with a click. Make sure you rotate the shaft will an allen wrench to free the cutter. Do not use your hand inside the disposal to free the shaft.
