The InSinKErator Badger 1 is the quietest
garbage disposal I have ever had. It was
easy to install. A good quality disposal for
the price. I especially like the fact they
are still made in the USA.

Purchased a badger 1 from lowes. is there a plug in the dishwasher connect
There is a plastic plug in the Badger 1
disposal. The plug is black and hard to see
at first, since the inside of the disposal
is also black. I knocked mine out with a
long handle screwdriver and hammer.

Stopped working but makes a sound
stopped working without any sign of unusual noises, clogged, too much food, etc. When I turn it on I hear a humming sound but it won't grind. Can this be repaired or is it time for a new one?

I have a badger1, and it's leaking from the bottom, near red reset button.Is it repairable?
My old disposal was doing the same thing.
Your internal seal is probably leaking
and should be replaced. If you feel
confident enough in your skill set, you can
probably buy a replacement seal for your
disposal. As easy as disposals are to
install, I just bought a new InSinkErator
1/3 hp Badger 1. Only $85 @ Lowes...
